RAMBELLE: RAMBUTAN SEED SCRUB
UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA
About the Project
Experts claim that the fruit which people call rambutan is consumed by many individuals in tropical locations, but this consumption creates many seeds that people throw away. These rambutan seeds are often discarded without further utilization because the value of the seeds is not recognized. This study aims to create a sustainable and environmentally friendly skin scrub using rambutan seeds as the main natural rubbing material. The rambutan seeds is cleaned and dried before the seeds are turned into small particles which then combined with other ingredients. Because rambutan seeds are used in this way, this project helps the idea of a circular economy. It has been observed that this method reduces the need for artificial rubbing materials that cause damage to the environment. Many people believe that rambutan seeds provide a soft way to clean the skin surface. This product gives financial benefits because a leftover material from farming is changed into a cosmetic item for sale. The potential of fruit waste as a sustainable raw material is shown by this innovation. Rambutan seeds help the development of natural products while the seeds support the protection of nature.
