About Event

KL3IS is an international invention and innovation symposium that feature improvement, modification, and development of a new product, idea, services, teaching, and etc. KL3IS strive to offer participants a recognition of their effort, invention, and innovation via virtual and interactive platform. All submission and judging process will be conducted via online platform; in the comfort of your own places.

How to Register

  1. Register your project at Registro Portal: https://pentas.app

  2. A letter of Acceptance (LOA) will be automatically issued for the accepted project.

  3. Please check Registro Portal for the copy of the PROJECT ID (I.E. YS10, 3MT1, SS1, ST1)

  4. Upload your video to any YouTube.

  5. Please ensure that you set the permission to public or unlisted.

  6. Pay the participation fee via Pentas Payment System.

  7. Upload your video link and evidence (optional – preferably Google Drive) via Registro Portal.

  8. The organizer will verify the payment, video, and/or evidence link.

  9. Once verified, the video will be uploaded to Virtual Booth.

  10. A panel of expert reviewers will review all the projects submitted.

  11. Announcement of results through the YouTube Channel, website, and email.

  12. The judges’ decision is final, and no appeals will be entertained.

Rules & Regulations

  • The event is open to all participants, from primary schools to professionals.

  • The first name for PRODIGY and FUTURIST must be an ACTIVE STUDENT.

  • PRODIGY is open to Primary and Secondary School Students (7 to 17/18 years old).

  • For FUTURIST:

    • The first name must be an ACTIVE TERTIARY STUDENT.

    • Kolej Vokasional DVM is eligible for this category.

    • SVM may participate in either Tertiary or Young Scientist categories.

  • Maximum team size is 8 members, including the teacher/lecturer/advisor. Please include their name as a team member and select the appropriate role.

  • The organizer provides ONE e-certificate that includes all participants' names.

  • All payments are NON-REFUNDABLE. Failure to complete registration before the submission deadline will VOID your participation.

  • Price does not include custom fees for international shipping.

  • Presentation videos must not exceed 6 minutes and 30 seconds.

  • The use of third-party software to boost video views and likes is strictly prohibited and may lead to disqualification.

  • All decisions are FINAL. No requests or appeals will be entertained.

  • Registration data is strictly confidential; however, the organizer may use it to provide event updates or information on future events.

  • All presentation videos must start with each member introducing themselves via recorded video to ensure originality and consent.

  • The innovation and/or invention must be original. The organizer will disqualify any entry that does not fulfill these criteria.

Video Guidelines

  • Video Duration: Within 6 Minutes and 30 Seconds.

  • Orientation: Landscape.

  • Submission: Upload to your own YouTube Channel. Please set permission to ‘Unlisted’ or ‘Public’.

  • Mandatory Introduction: Must start with video introduction of team members – including name, and organization/university name.

  • Contents:

    • Impacts

    • Commercialization potential

    • Publication (if available)

    • Copyright (if available)

    • Any additional criteria
