About the Project
SmartGrow AI is an intelligent plant care system integrating the Internet of Things (IoT), automated irrigation, and artificial intelligence (AI). The system uses an ESP32-S3 camera board and environmental sensors to monitor soil moisture, light intensity, temperature, humidity, and reservoir water level. Sensor readings are transmitted to the Blynk platform for remote monitoring. Automated irrigation operates according to soil moisture and water availability, while low-water notifications help prevent pump operation when the reservoir is insufficient. Additionally, a Python-based application integrated with Google Gemini AI analyses plant images, assesses plant health, identifies potential issues, and provides care recommendations. The system supports convenient plant care for home gardening, education, and small-scale agriculture.
