Innovation New Ideas Exploration Transformation

1. This competition is open to students, lecturers/professionals and researchers form higher education institution, industry and schools in Malaysia and abroad.

   • Additional requirements for school student’s category: maximum of FOUR (4) students is allowed per team, accompanied by ONE (1) supervising teacher.

2. Each group shall consist of not more than FIVE (5) members.

3. Each group are required to prepare project abstract, poster and video presentation.

4. iNEXT’26 will be conducted fully online. However, the 30 finalists selected will be required to showcase and present their innovations through a physical exhibition.

5. The Letter of Acceptance (LOA) will be in the system automatically once after submission.

6. Upon receiving the LOA, participants must be complete the payment via online bank transfer using the payment details provided by the organiser.

7. Proof of payment must be uploaded to the Proof of payment section before the payment deadline.

8. No refunds will be given to any team that withdraws, regardless of reason.

9. Teams that cancel after the registration deadline are required to pay the full invoiced amount.

10. Result announcement will be on 31 October 2026.

11. Gold, Silver and Bronze awards will be determined based on the jury’s final evaluation. Official iNEXT’26 medals are not included in the registration fee.

12. Official e-certificates to all eligible participants will be available in the system in 7days after result announcement

• Participants must prepare a digital poster (vertical layout).

• Poster should be in English.

• Poster dimension is A1 size (width x height) 594 x 841mm.

• Poster should be in high resolution, at least 300 dpi.

• The title of the poster should be the same as the abstract title.

• Participants have freedom in displaying your information (background design, figures, tables, text, images etc) creatively.

• The poster should contain title, author(s)’ name, affiliation, background, problem statement/ objectives, solutions/suggestion, contribution/benefit to society, cost-effectiveness, and commercialisation potential.

• Poster file format should be in PDF.

• Presentation should be in English.

• The video presentation must not exceed 7 minutes in length.

• The video should be in horizontal layout (MP4 format).

• The video is required to be uploaded on YouTube and attach the YouTube link in the submission. Please ensure the privacy setting is set to ‘Public’.
