About the Project

This gameboard uses characters from the Heroes in the Hikayat Lima Bersaudara to enhance the understanding of the concepts and principles of the five accounts in accounting. The gameboard requires adapting the characters Hang Tuah, Hang Jebat, Hang Kasturi, Hang Lekir and Hang Lekiu. The objective is to put the theory used in accounting, in the characters of the Heroes, in order to develop students’ understanding of the account definitions, the accounting equation and the debit and credit rules. The intended users of the gameboard are accounting educators and students at SPM, diploma, and degree levels. The gameboard consists of three phases: Remember the Formula, Match the Transaction, and Create the Question. This gameboard incorporates elements of fun and simplicity for better understanding, as well as cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability. Furthermore, it presents three additional forms— SilatBoard_Story book, SilatBoard_Animation movie, and SilatBoard_RPG video game—that have potential for future commercialization.
