About the Project
Ejen Ery Adventure (EEA) is an AI-assisted integrated gamified learning platform developed to enhance the teaching and learning of Form Four Biology. It integrates learning notes, instructional videos, interactive quizzes, an offline educational game, and teacher monitoring features into a single learning environment to improve students' understanding, engagement, and independent learning. The innovation was developed by integrating AI-assisted tools (Google AI Studio, NotebookLM, and STITCH AI) with Google Sites, Firebase, and Buildbox. It was implemented with 12 Form Four students over two weeks. Data were collected through pre- and post-tests, student feedback questionnaires, teacher observations, and expert validation involving Biology and Computer Science educators. The findings showed an improvement in students' learning achievement, with the mean test score increasing from 49 in the pre-test to 84 in the post-test. Student feedback indicated positive responses ranging from 92% to 100% across usability, engagement, accessibility, and learning effectiveness. Expert validation also confirmed that EEA is educationally relevant, user-friendly, and suitable for classroom implementation. In conclusion, EEA demonstrates the potential of an AI assisted integrated gamified learning platform to enhance Biology education by improving student engagement, supporting independent learning, and enabling teachers to monitor students' learning progress effectively. The innovation provides a practical, scalable, and sustainable solution for technology-enhanced Biology education in Malaysian secondary schools.
