About the Project
CostSmart Pricing Intelligence is an AI-powered mobile Decision Support System (DSS) designed to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) improve product costing and pricing decisions. The application integrates automated cost calculations, profit margin analysis, break-even analysis, pricing simulations, and AI-powered business recommendations. A hands-on pilot validation involving 21 SMEs entrepreneurs demonstrated encouraging user acceptance, with willingness to use CostSmart achieving a mean score of 4.76 and 95.2% positive responses. The innovation offers a practical and scalable digital solution to strengthen pricing confidence, support informed financial decision-making and promote sustainable entrepreneurship through accessible, intelligent costing and pricing tools.
