About the Project
This study proposes the BRIDGE-HYB Framework to support effective hybrid learning implementation in higher education. Developed from a mixed-method study of lecturers’ perceptions and experiences, the framework integrates institutional support, purposeful course redesign, innovative pedagogy, technological readiness, lecturer preparedness, learner engagement, and continuous evaluation. Findings identified six interconnected themes emphasising course redesign, continuous improvement, pedagogical transformation, student flexibility and motivation, learner autonomy, and authentic learning. These findings informed a structured framework that bridges face-to-face and online learning environments. The BRIDGE-HYB Framework offers practical guidance for developing sustainable, student-centred, flexible, and meaningful hybrid learning practices across higher education contexts.
