About the Project

Science Explorer is an interactive digital learning platform developed to enhance Year 4 Science learning based on the Malaysian KSSR curriculum. It integrates interactive learning resources, educational games, quizzes, mission-based exploration, a digital science library, and learning progress tracking. The platform aims to help pupils understand Science concepts through engaging, interactive, and self-paced learning experiences. The prototype was evaluated with 32 Year 4 pupils over a two-week intervention using pre-test, post-test, and a pupil feedback questionnaire. Aggregate test accuracy increased from 75.8% to 79.8%, representing a 4.0 percentage-point improvement. Feedback showed that 93.8% of pupils found the platform helpful for understanding Science, while 96.9% expressed willingness to continue using it. The findings indicate positive initial user acceptance and potential for further development in primary Science education.
