From Registration to Certificates: The PENTAS Competition Lifecycle

Most competition committees stitch their workflow together from forms, group chats and spreadsheets. PENTAS replaces that patchwork with one pipeline that carries a competition from first announcement to final certificate. Here is the full lifecycle.

Stage 1: Setup and registration

Organisers configure the competition — categories, participation rules, registration forms and fees. Participants register individually or as teams, institutions verify their students, and payments are collected online where fees apply.

Stage 2: Submissions

Teams upload project details, documents and video presentations before the deadline. Every submission is tied to its team record, so nothing gets lost in inboxes and nothing needs to be re-typed into a master sheet.

Stage 3: Judging

Jury members are assigned against declared conflicts, score against the published rubric, and can revise until the judging window closes. Organisers watch completion status live instead of chasing panels over WhatsApp.

Stage 4: Results and awards

When judging ends, PENTAS computes rankings from verified scores, excluding anything blocked by conflicts. Awards are assigned and published, and winners appear on the public showcase.

Stage 5: Certificates

Participation and winner certificates are generated straight from the results — with verification codes anyone can check on the public verification page. No mail-merge, no spelling mistakes, no reprints.
