SyncNGo: One App, Safer Journeys - Transforming How Malaysians Travel Together

About the Project

Malaysian travellers, especially solo women, face safety risks when travelling with strangers, while groups struggle with uneven cost sharing and itinerary coordination. Existing apps solve these problems separately. SyncNGo is an all-in-one mobile application that combines verified companion matching with collaborative group planning. Key features include identity verification, trip matching with waitlists, real-time group chat, shared itineraries, automated expense splitting and an Emergency SOS module. Evaluation with 15 users recorded an excellent System Usability Scale score of 81.17, with high trust in the platform's safety. SyncNGo promotes safer, more affordable and better-coordinated travel, supporting Malaysia's smart tourism growth.
