# SMART MEDICINE REMINDER USING IoT WITH SOS BUTTON — Abstract The **Smart Medicine Reminder Using IoT with SOS Button** is an innovative healthcare-support system designed to help users manage their medicine schedules safely and efficiently. The system combines **IoT technology, automatic medication reminders, and an emergency SOS function** in one smart device. At the scheduled time, the device provides **buzzer, LED, display, and voice alerts** to remind the user to take the correct medicine. Using **Wi-Fi connectivity**, the system can send medication notifications and status updates to a connected mobile application or trusted caregiver. If the user misses a scheduled dose, the system can generate a **missed-dose notification**. In an emergency, the user can press the **SOS button** to immediately send an emergency alert to a selected caregiver or family member through the IoT network. Additional features such as **medicine schedule storage, real-time status monitoring, daily medication history, rechargeable battery, and emergency notifications** make the system more practical and intelligent. The main objective of this project is to **improve medication management, provide faster emergency communication, reduce forgotten doses, and increase user safety**. This project demonstrates how IoT technology can be combined with a simple medicine reminder to create a connected and user-friendly healthcare solution.
