Smart GeoSpatial System

About the Project

Manual field auditing often suffers from location falsification, unreliable photo evidence, and poor network connectivity in remote sites. To address these challenges, the Smart GeoSpatial System was developed for secure geospatial data collection and field evidence auditing. The system enforces spatial verification by matching extracted photo metadata against defined project boundaries using database spatial queries (ST_Contains). To ensure continuous operation in remote areas, survey entries are saved locally using IndexedDB and automatically synchronized with the central database when connectivity is restored. A multi-tier user structure (Admin, Head of Department, and Field Staff) streamlines task assignments, submission reviews, and automated PDF report generation. Overall, the Smart GeoSpatial System provides an offline-capable, tamper-resistant system that enhances data integrity, eliminates fake location submissions, and improves operational monitoring.
