About the Project
Math Escape Room is an innovative gamified Mathematics learning activity that transforms conventional problem-solving into an interactive, collaborative and technology-enhanced experience. Developed to address students’ low engagement and passive participation in Mathematics learning, the innovation integrates QR codes, physical clues, card-based challenges and structured game mechanics into a progressive escape-room journey. Participants work collaboratively to solve mathematical problems, where each correct answer unlocks the next challenge. The activity incorporates various topics, including algebra, logarithms, determinants and quadratic equations, while developing problem-solving, critical thinking, communication and teamwork skills. Its flexible design enables adaptation across educational levels and learning environments, offering a scalable and engaging approach to Mathematics education
