JurisFamilia Cases: A Mobile App for Learning Family Law Cases

About the Project

Family Law students often struggle to recall legal principles, identify relevant cases, and explain their relevance, despite access to existing learning materials. Current resources primarily provide case information but offer limited opportunities for structured retrieval and self-testing within a single platform. To address this gap, JurisFamilia Cases is a mobile learning app that integrates structured case notes, flashcards, and quizzes. The app was developed in response to observations of classroom and examination answers and is designed to support access, understanding, retrieval, testing, and reinforcement. The innovation offers a practical and accessible approach to case revision, with potential to enhance Family Law learning and support wider educational and commercial applications.
