FLOODGUARD AI

About the Project

FloodGuard AI is an AI-powered flood-risk assessment prototype designed to help communities better understand potential flood conditions. The system analyses environmental factors such as rainfall, water level, humidity, temperature, and wind using a machine-learning model to classify flood risk into categories such as Low, Medium, or High. The project demonstrates how Artificial Intelligence and environmental data can be combined to support early awareness, preparedness, and community resilience. In the future, FloodGuard AI could be improved by integrating real-time weather/sensor data, historical Malaysian flood data, and location-based flood-risk maps.
