About the Project
Discrete Mathematics Mastery Assessment and Tutor Tool is an assessment tool that was developed to gain student interest and understanding in discrete mathematics subject at degree level. There 7 chapters covered in this tool that are Combinatoric and probability, Fundamental of logic, Set Theory, Sequence and Mathematical Induction, Relations and Functions, Introduction to Graph Theory and Trees. Using this tool, student able to choose how many multiple-choice questions for each chapter they want to answer to test their understanding as minimum of 5 questions to 15 questions. Besides, integrated of chatbot tutoring is also provided to help student with further questions and explanation. The tool is expected to gain high engagement of learning through gamification, real-time chatbot tutoring to explain complex topics, immediate feedback to ensures that any mistake is corrected on the spot. Besides, flexibility with customizable pacing of students in also highlighted to accommodates different attentions spans and time constraints for each student. As conclusion the tool is successfully bridges the gap of academic evaluation with interactive design to improve the student understanding especially in discrete mathematics.
