About the Project
CultuResilience Studio redefines heritage landscape architecture education by moving beyond physical site inventories to map living, intangible culture. Addressing PPTM 2026–2035 (Focus 3 & 6) & SDG 4, 8 &11, our dynamic Two-Tier Scaffolding Model uses Pekan Parit, Perak as a low-risk trial bed to eliminate fieldwork anxiety before students scale Janet Pillai’s Cultural Mapping techniques to Georgetown's UNESCO core (Lebuh China & Lebuh Gereja). Outcome: Designs actively safeguard living heritage against gentrification. Ultimately, the studio operationalises dynamic pedagogy to prepare future-ready landscape architects who build with communities, bridging human empathy with spatial resilience.
