CREDIT EXEMPTION APPLICATION SYSTEM (CEAS) for Faculty of Information Science

About the Project

Credit exemption is essential for students entering degree programmes, yet some UiTM faculties face inefficiencies due to limited access to systems managed by the Faculty of Information Science. Consequently, applications rely on paper forms, emails, and messaging applications, resulting in inconsistent documentation, limited lecturer support, and poor application transparency. The Credit Exemption Application System (CEAS) addresses these challenges through a decentralized, faculty-level web platform developed using Agile methodology. CEAS guides students through submissions, automatically generates standardized Borang PC documentation, and provides real-time tracking dashboards. Its dual-window evaluation interface enables lecturers to compare transcripts with study plans efficiently, improving accuracy, transparency, and overall administrative performance.
